Welcome to the Nakamura Group webpage. Established in April 2012, we are an experimental quantum information research group.

In the Nakamura-Usami Group, we conduct a wide range of quantum information research, pushing the current limits of information processing, networking, communication, and precision measurement using the principles of quantum mechanics. We firmly believe that if useful quantum devices are to be developed, an approach which incorporates both physics and engineering must be pursued. We are tackling pressing problems in the field from both perspectives.
